Sinai Synagogue, along with Jewish communities around the world, has been praying for the return of the hostages to their homes and an end to the suffering in Gaza. We are thankful that a ceasefire has finally begun.
We hope and pray for the safe return of our adopted hostage Tal Shoham from captivity. Tal was taken from Kibbutz Be’eri on 7th October 2023 and has family here in Leeds.
The Israeli government announced today (Sunday) that Tal was on the list of 33 hostages agreed to be returned in the first phase of the ceasefire agreement.
