The Jewish Leadership Council in partnership with Work Avenue, has established a fund, with almost £300,000 and a commitment of additional funds if needed, to support those across the community whose earnings have been directly affected by COVID-19. The fund specifically assists those who are ineligible for Government support or who face delays accessing Government funds.
This fund is designed to help you with essential expenses up until the end of June.
People likely to be eligible may include:
- Those whose earnings or employment have been affected by COVID-19
- Those who are recently self-employed and don’t have a 2018/2019 tax return
- Those who became employed from 20th March 2020
- If you feel you might be eligible, please complete the form in as much detail as possible and submit it.
A Work Avenue adviser will contact you for an initial assessment and will explain the next stage of the application process which will involve you submitting financial documentation and evidence of ineligibility for Government and other support schemes.
